Guess the hidden five-letter word in six tries. Coloured hints show which letters are in the word and where they belong.
How to Play
- Type any five-letter word and press Enter (or use the on-screen keyboard).
- Green means the letter is in the word and in the right spot.
- Amber (with a dotted underline) means the letter is in the word but in a different spot.
- Grey means the letter is not in the word at all.
- Use the hints to narrow it down and find the word within six guesses.
- Daily mode gives one word per day; Unlimited lets you play as many words as you like.
Tips & Strategy
- Start with a word that has common, different letters, such as STARE or CRANE.
- Do not reuse grey letters — every guess should test something new.
- Remember that letters can repeat in the answer.
- Try amber letters in new positions to pin them down.
