Privacy Policy

Last updated 10 October 2026

This policy explains what information Adikya collects when you visit adikya.com or use its tools, why, who else handles it, how long it's kept, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can: most tools run entirely in your browser, you don't need an account, and we never sell your information.

"Adikya", "we", and "us" mean the operator of adikya.com and its subdomains, such as go.adikya.com. Questions about this policy go to [email protected].

The short version

  • Tools that run in your browser never send what you type or open to us.
  • Tools that need a server process your input to return a result and don't keep it afterwards, apart from short-lived caches and the few exceptions listed below.
  • Our visitor statistics don't use cookies and don't store your IP address.
  • If you create an account, we keep your email address and what you choose to save. You can download or delete all of it at any time.
  • If you play games while signed in, your best scores appear on public leaderboards unless you opt out.
  • We only use essential cookies today. If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we'll ask first.

Information we collect

When you visit any page

  • Server logs. Like almost every website, our web servers record each request: your IP address, the page requested, date and time, browser user agent, and referring page. We use these to keep the site running, fix errors, and stop abuse, and we delete them after 14 days.
  • Visitor statistics. We count visits with our own cookieless analytics. It doesn't set cookies, doesn't store your IP address, and can't recognise you from one day to the next: each visit is counted using a hash that changes daily. It records the page, referrer, browser and device type, and country (supplied by our network provider). It respects your browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page performance without cookies.
  • Security and delivery. All traffic passes through Cloudflare, which protects the site from attacks and delivers it quickly. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details to do this.

When you use a tool

  • Browser-only tools. Formatters, converters, calculators, generators, and most PDF and image tools do their work in your browser. What you enter stays on your device.
  • Server-side tools. Some tools must run on our server, such as DNS, WHOIS, SSL, and HTTP checkers, and document conversions. We use what you submit only to produce the result. Uploaded files are processed in a temporary folder and deleted as soon as the result is sent.
  • Short-lived caches. To stay fast and within third-party limits, some lookups cache their result for between 30 seconds and 24 hours. These caches are keyed by what was looked up, like a domain name, not by who asked.
  • Webhook Request Bin. This tool exists to capture requests. It keeps up to 50 requests sent to your bin, including their method, headers (except cookies and our own proxy headers), body, and sender IP address, for 30 minutes, then deletes them.
  • Poll Maker. A poll you create, its options, and its votes are stored until the poll is deleted, and it can be reached by anyone who has its link. It is hidden from search engines. When someone votes, their browser keeps a random token in a cookie (see below); we store only a one-way hash of that token, never your IP address, so we can stop a second vote from the same browser. On a poll with anonymous voting turned off, the name a voter types is stored and shown publicly on that poll. If you create a poll while signed in, it is linked to your account. Deleting a poll, or the account that created it, removes the poll and all of its votes.
  • Survey Maker. A survey you create, its questions, and every response to it are stored until the survey is deleted. The survey can be reached by anyone who has its link and is hidden from search engines, but its responses are shown only to its creator. When someone responds, their browser keeps a random token in a cookie (see below); we store only a one-way hash of that token, never your IP address, so we can stop a second response from the same browser. On a survey with anonymous responses turned off, the name a respondent types is stored and shown only to the survey's creator, including in the CSV export they can download. If you create a survey while signed in, it is linked to your account. Deleting a survey, or the account that created it, removes the survey and all of its responses.
  • Abuse prevention. We count requests per IP address to enforce rate limits and decide when to show a captcha. The counters expire on their own, typically within an hour. Sign-up and sign-in forms, and some tools, use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you're not a bot.
  • Third-party lookups. A few tools send part of your input to an outside service to get the answer. They're listed under Who we share information with.

If you create an account

  • Account details. Your email address, password, and sign-up date. Your password is held by our authentication provider, Amazon Cognito. We never see or store it.
  • Things you save. Notes, lists, tasks, and reminders you choose to sync to your account, the tools and games you add to your favorites, and the workflows you save (the steps and their settings only, never the text you run them on, and never passphrases or keys).
  • Reminder notifications. If you allow notifications, we store the subscription details your browser gives us so we can deliver reminders through your browser's push service.
  • Sessions. When you sign in, we set a session cookie and keep a matching session record, which expires after 30 days or when you sign out.

If you play games while signed in

  • Leaderboards. When you finish a leaderboard game while signed in, we store your best score for each game and board, both all-time and for each weekly season, when you set it, and the season points you earn. Leaderboards are public. They show your display name, or your full name if you haven't set a display name, or "Player" followed by a short code if you've set neither. They never show your email address. You're on the leaderboards by default; you can leave them, change your display name, or clear your scores from your account page.
  • Server-checked games. For a few games, such as Minesweeper, our server keeps the state of the round you're playing so it can confirm your score. It's deleted when the round ends, or after 3 hours.

Security monitoring

If an IP address attacks our servers, for example with repeated failed logins or scans for vulnerabilities, our intrusion protection may check it against abuse-reputation services such as AbuseIPDB, CrowdSec, and Spamhaus, block it at Cloudflare, and keep a record of the event. We keep these security records as long as they're needed to protect the service.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include, and use it to reply.

Cookies and local storage

We only use cookies and browser storage that the site needs to work or that remember choices you make. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies today. If we add analytics or advertising cookies in future, they'll stay off until you allow them in , which you can change at any time from the footer.

How and why we use information

  • To provide the service you ask for: running tools, operating your account, and sending reminders you set. Where data protection law requires a legal basis, this is performance of our agreement with you.
  • To keep Adikya secure and reliable: preventing abuse, fraud, and attacks, and fixing problems. This is our legitimate interest in running a safe service.
  • To understand and improve the site: cookieless, aggregate statistics about which pages and tools are used. This is our legitimate interest, with minimal impact on you.
  • With your consent: any optional cookies we may add in future. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as responding to lawful requests.

We don't use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we don't build advertising profiles.

Who we share information with

We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run Adikya, when a tool you use needs an outside service, or when the law requires it.

Server-side checkers also contact the websites and mail servers you ask them to test, the same way a browser or mail server would. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the service, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.

Where information is processed

Our servers are in the European Union (France). Amazon Cognito stores account details in the United States, and Cloudflare, push services, and the lookup services above may process data in other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the providers' standard contractual clauses.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, download, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. We offer these to everyone, wherever you are:

  • Download your data from your account page as a JSON file.
  • Delete your account and everything saved to it from the same page. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
  • Change your password on the account page. To change your email address, contact us.
  • Change your cookie choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.
  • Turn off reminder notifications by blocking notifications for adikya.com in your browser's site settings, or by deleting your reminders.
  • For anything else, including access to information not covered by the export, email [email protected]. We may need to verify that the request comes from you, and we'll respond within 30 days.

We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

How we protect information

We encrypt connections with HTTPS, keep passwords with a dedicated authentication provider, restrict server and database access, apply strict browser security policies, and keep software up to date. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users and authorities of a breach where the law requires it.

Children

Adikya isn't directed at children under 13, and you must be at least 18 to create an account. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we'll give notice on the site, and by email to account holders, before it takes effect.
