How to Play
- Click the board, then use the arrow keys or WASD — or swipe on a touch screen — to slide every tile in one direction.
- Two tiles with the same number merge into one when they collide, adding their value to your score.
- After every move a new 2 (or occasionally a 4) appears in an empty square.
- Reach the 2048 tile to win. You can keep playing for a higher score.
- The game ends when the board is full and no merges are possible. Undo takes back your last move.
Tips & Strategy
- Keep your highest tile in one corner and build toward it.
- Avoid moving in the direction that pulls your big tile out of its corner.
- Keep one row or column full so the tiles stay ordered.
- Merge small tiles early so they do not clutter the board.
