Simon
Four pads, four tones, one growing pattern. Watch the sequence, repeat it back, and see how long a chain your memory can hold.
How to Play
- Press Start. One pad lights up and plays its tone.
- Repeat the sequence by clicking the pads, or by pressing keys 1 to 4 while the board has focus.
- Each round adds one more step to the end of the sequence, and it plays a little faster as it grows.
- In Normal mode you have three lives: a mistake replays the sequence. In Strict mode one mistake ends the game.
- Your score is the length of the longest sequence you repeated correctly.
Tips & Strategy
- Say the numbers or shapes in your head as the sequence plays ("1, 3, 3, 2…").
- Group the sequence into chunks of three or four. Chunks are easier to remember than single steps.
- Listen as well as watch: each pad has its own pitch, and many people find tunes easier to remember than colours.
- Turn Sound off if you'd rather play silently. The pads still light up and grow their shapes.
